Beginning January 1, 2024, there will be changes to how Connecticut residents access DailyPay due to new guidance from the Connecticut Department of Banking.
The new guidance specifically places restrictions on fee-based on-demand pay solutions like DailyPay, and will prevent you from being able to access your pay early through instant DailyPay transfers.
Any type of DailyPay transfer you make before January 1, 2024, will process as usual, as well as any upcoming direct deposit payments. However, your ability to make instant DailyPay transfers will be restricted beginning January 1, 2024, but you can continue to make 1 to 3 day transfers with no fee.
Alternatively, you can continue to have access to instant transfers with DailyPay for no fee if you have or open a Friday Card with direct deposit!
DailyPay is committed to 100% compliance with all laws, regulations and mandatory guidance across the country. We’re actively communicating with your employer(s) to inform them of changes we are making to be compliant with the Connecticut Department of Banking’s guidance on earned wage access.
