How do I withdraw from my savings?
Savings are earnings that you’ve put aside until next payday with Plan or Split Direct Deposit.
You always have the option to turn your savings back into available earnings by emptying your savings pot. You can also turn off Split DIrect Deposit, formerly known as Automatic Savings (Auto Save), at any time so the amount you selected is no longer automatically set aside for payday, depending on timing.
If you empty your savings, they’ll be added back to your available earnings, and you can transfer them if you want to.
To empty your savings:
1 Open the DailyPay app
2 From the Earnings tab, scroll down to Savings and tap Empty your savings
3 In the pop-up, tap Yes, empty my savings
If your savings spans more than one pay period, you will see "Empty your savings" for each pay period. You will return all of your savings at the same time.
Note
For savings reserved with Split Direct Deposit , this will clear out the amount automatically saved for the upcoming payday, but it will not turn off Split Direct Deposit for future pay periods.
To turn off or adjust Split Direct Deposit for all future pay periods:
1 Open the DailyPay app
2 From the top left of the Earnings tab, tap the menu icon and then Settings
3 Tap Direct Deposit.
3 Tap Clear under the “Split my paycheck” box, to turn Split Direct Deposit off.
Depending on when you disable Split Direct Deposit, the money set to be saved may not appear to be in your available earnings. If that happens, your savings will be sent in your paycheck on payday.
