Why was my transaction declined?
Purchases may be declined for a variety of reasons.
- You might not have enough money to cover your purchase
- Your card isn’t activated yet
- Your purchase exceeds your transaction limits
- Your card is locked
- Your card is expired
- Your card is closed or deactivated
- The point-of-sale system may have failed
- Your account has been flagged for fraud
Transfers may be declined for a variety of reasons.
- You may not have enough money to cover your outgoing transfer
- Your transfer exceeds your transaction limits
- Your destination bank account or debit card may not accept transfers
- Your destination bank account or debit card may not be in an active status
- Your account has been flagged for fraud
To avoid a transaction declining, make sure your DailyPay Card is active, your transaction is within your transaction limits, and you have enough funds to cover the transaction. Many times, transactions will fail due to reasons out of DailyPay’s control.
