Once you open the dispute, a thorough investigation will be conducted using the details you provided, our investigation make up to 90 days, depending on the type of dispute. Good to know
It is not possible to start a dispute on a transaction while it is still pending. It may take several days for pending transactions to fully settle. While most transactions typically settle within 7 business days, some may take longer depending on the nature of the transaction and processing times with third parties.
You can open a dispute once the transaction fully posts. We may temporarily credit you the disputed transaction amount while we investigate your dispute. If the dispute is resolved in your favor, we will make the credit permanent credit. Otherwise, we may reverse the temporary credit after we conclude our investigation. In either case, you will receive a notification alerting you as to the status. If your temporary credit is reversed, we will notify you of the reversal at least 5 business days in advance of when the funds will be removed.
In instances where you report a dispute as a result of a lost or stolen card, we will immediately cancel your current card and re-issue you a new card. You will have immediate access to a new virtual card while your new physical card is in transit. Any scheduled activity associated with canceled virtual or physical card numbers will no longer process. All other activity associated with the cancelled card number will no longer process.
For the Visa Zero Liability Policy protection benefits on your DailyPay Visa Prepaid Card, you must notify your financial institution immediately of any unauthorized use. For specific restrictions, limitations, and other details, please refer to the Cardholder Agreement.
