How do I update my contact information in my account?
You can update all your personal contact information, including your full name, email address, and phone number, within the DailyPay app.
Important
If you need to change or update your personal information be sure to keep this new information private. You will never be asked for private information such as your password by any person at DailyPay. Do not respond to this kind of message if you receive it.
Never follow links or open attachments in suspicious or unsolicited messages. Your password is private and should not be shared with anyone.
Update name
1. In the menu in the upper left, select Settings, then Account Information
2. Under your current name at the top, select Edit
3. Erase and change your first or last name in the appropriate field and select Save
4. You will receive a text verification code to the phone number on file - enter the code or select Call Me if you would like to verify via an automated phone call instead
When you see Info Changed Successfully, you have completed the process!
Update email or phone number
Your current contact information may need to be verified before you can update it. See Verify Email or Phone Number for more information.
1 In the menu in the upper left, select Settings, then Account Information
2 Under your current name at the top, select Edit
3 Erase and change your phone number or email address and select Save
4 You will need to verify your identity to complete the change
a. For an email address change, you will receive a text verification code to the phone number on file - enter the code or select Call Me if you would like to verify via an automated phone call
b. For a phone number change, you will receive an email to the address on file with a verification code - enter the code and select Confirm your Identity.
When you see Info Changed Successfully, you have completed the process!
Verify email or phone number
Your current contact information will need to be verified before you can update it, and it may need to be verified to update another in certain circumstances. This process is for account security.
1 In the menu in the upper left, select Settings, then Account Information
2 Next to whichever information needs to be verified, select Verify

You will not be able to edit an unverified piece of information. If you need to do so, please call Customer Support.
3 You will receive a code to the email or phone number you are attempting to verify. Enter the code sent and select Confirm your Identity
When you see Authentication Successful you have successfully verified!
General difficulty or "An unknown error occurred"
1 If you are using the app to attempt the change, try the website. If you are using the website, try the app. In addition, if you are using the app, try updating your DailyPay app in the app store.
2 If you are using the website, try using a different browser. DailyPay is supported on Chrome and Firefox. If you are on the app, try closing and re-opening the app and attempt the action again.
3 When contacting Customer Support, please advise on what steps you've already taken to try to troubleshoot the problem above.
"Error: Email/Phone has already been taken"
Your email address and phone number will need to be unique and not shared information with another DailyPay customer. If you know it's not being shared, first, double-check that you are entering your email address or phone number correctly and try again. If it's still not working, contact Customer Support.
Note
If you have another DailyPay account with a previous job you have since left and are getting this error, call Customer Support and be sure to mention your previous job and account.
