What happens if my 1-3 business day transfer is sent to a closed account?
If your 1-3 business day transfer is sent to a closed bank account, the transfer will be rejected and sent back by the bank in 2-3 business days. The full amount including any fee incurred will be returned to your account. If it’s close enough to your payday, the amount may be included in your paycheck instead and may not appear in the DailyPay app or website.
Note
Make sure to keep your routing/account number in your DailyPay account up to date to avoid failed transfers.
