How do instant transfers work?

Request an instant transfer when you need money from your available earnings right away. Even if it is a weekend or holiday, you’ll still receive your money instantly. Instant transfers may not be available if you live in Connecticut (CT). Please see the I live in CT. How do I use DailyPay? Article for more details.

You must have a debit card or bank account linked to your DailyPay account to make instant transfers. If you're having trouble adding a debit card, contact your bank to make sure it can receive transfers from DailyPay.

Instant transfers may be subject to a fee. The exact fee varies by employer and ranges from $2.49 to $3.99. Instant transfer fees may be reduced or waived in connection with a promotion or use of another DailyPay product. We’ll tell you the amount of any applicable fee before your transfer request is processed.  

How to make an instant transfer

Follow the instructions below for making an instant transfer:

You can initiate a transfer from either the Today or Earnings tab. Once you navigate to one of these tabs, tap Start Transfer.
Type in how much you’d like to transfer - or tap Transfer it all to get all of your available earnings today - and tap Next.
In the When screen that appears, tap Now for an instant transfer ($3.49 fee).
Check the confirmation screen. If you’d like to change where to send the transfer, tap Going To and select a different account. To finalize the transfer, tap Transfer $X.XX.  Note: Most instant transfers will be in your bank account within 30 minutes. In rare cases, your transfer may take up to 24 hours to appear. If you don’t see the money you transferred in the bank account associated with your debit card 24 hours after your transfer was sent, contact the DailyPay Support team.

*On-Demand Pay requires employer participation in DailyPay. On-Demand Pay fees will be waived for any DailyPay transfers made to a DailyPay Card set up with direct deposit. Instant Transfers may not be available to residents in all states. Please see this Help Center article for further information.
